Advantages of Medicine Ball Training

Medicine balls are weighted balls which can be used in numerous ways and have loads of benefits. 1 – Push Ups



Get in the standard push up position and place one hand on the ground and the other on the ball. Now perform the regular push up with one hand on the ball. Complete the number of repetitions for left and then for the right hand.

2 – Squat Throw




Hold a medicine ball with both your hands and bring your hands in front of your chest. Now act like you are sitting on a chair and position your body accordingly. Get ready to jump high. Now jump high and when you reach the maximum height, throw the ball up. Catch the ball or not, it’s up to you. Perform the fixed amount of repetitions.

3 – Lying Chest Throw



Lie flat on the ground and hold the ball firmly in both your hands. Bring your hands above your chest with your elbows bent. Bend your knees as much as possible and place your feet flat on ground. Now throw the ball straight upwards and catch it as it comes back and then bring your hands back to your chest. Perform the fixed number of repetitions.
